Gifts, particularly of archival material, form an important part of the research collections related to Africa at IU. Gifts of published and archival material are considered on a case-by-case basis according to guidelines set out in the internal IU Libraries document Workflow, Policies and Guidelines for Processing, Description, and Access of Gift Collections.
