Simultaneous User Limits
Project Muse allows for unlimited simultaneous users.
Availability
To view all e-books we have access to, choose the “BROWSE” button on the Project Muse home page. Then choose the “BROWSE ALL MUSE” button. Then filter results to "Only content I have access to”. Search results can also be narrowed down using the same filter.
Downloading an E-Book
Project Muse e-books cannot be downloaded in whole. To download a specific chapter, scroll down to the table of contents and then click on the download link under the section you would like to download.
Alumni Access
The Indiana University Alumni Association has paid to allow alumni access to Project Muse.
To access content, alumni users must:
- Be a current member of the Indiana University Alumni Association
- Log on to My IU (https://www.myiu.org/)
- Navigate to Project Muse through the links provided on the My IU portal
In the event that a user is having trouble with their access, they should be directed to Joan Hall (Lead Marketing Generalist) at the Alumni Association: jchall@iu.edu. The alumni association has their own authentication system for establishing members access to these resources, so they would have to troubleshoot the individual problem.
