IUCAT is the online library catalog for all IU libraries, including IU Indianapolis and the regional campuses. You can search the catalog for books, media, government documents, and journals. IUCAT is not the place to search for individual journal articles--you should use a database for that. You can request physical items, like a book or DVD, from any of the IU campuses to be delivered to the Wells Library or other campus libraries on the Bloomington campus. E-book access is limited by campus affiliation, and you can only access e-books available to IU Bloomington.
Request books from off campus storage (ALF) or from another IU campus:
NOTE: Material from certain libraries (IUB Kinsey Library, Lilly Library, CEDIR Library, Archives of Traditional Music Library, University Archives Library, and the Bloomington Residence Halls) cannot be request.
Reference material and short term loans (like DVDs) cannot be requested.
Interlibrary loans allow you to borrow material from non IU Libraries.
*First time users will be asked delivery information for their materials*
How to Request:
You will receive an email from Interlibrary loan when your materials are ready for pickup.
