Reserve Desk

• Description: Reserve materials in a variety of formats.  Open Reserve items are part of the Music Library collections and may be used in the library or checked out for two hours (or overnight).  Closed Reserve items are books, scores, recordings, and other materials belonging to faculty members and may be used in the library for two hours.

• Location: Open Reserve items are shelved in call number order in the Reserve Room (just past the circulation desk) in the Music Library. Closed Reserve items are kept behind the circulation desk.

• To access: Find an Open Reserve item in the Reserve Room. Take it to the Reserves station at the circulation desk to check it out of the room (and out of the library if desired) for two hours. Ask the assistant at the circulation desk for Closed Reserve items.
