Activating Your Discount
Note: You must request the discount at the time of submission, before manuscript approval.
Please follow these steps to ensure discount activation on your SpringerOpen or BioMed Central manuscript submission:
1.) First, navigate to the homepage of the specific journal you will be submitting to. Click Submit a Manuscript and create or use an existing author account to log in. Connect with your ORCID iD if you haven't already.
2.) Start a new submission by selecting Submit New Manuscript and follow the prompts until you have completed all steps.
3.) When you arrive at the following screen, select View Publication Charges.
4.) Next, select the option listed that reads I believe that I am covered by an institutional membership arrangement and wish to request institutional payment or discount and Select Indiana University at Bloomington in the dropdown menu.
5.) When you reach the screen shown below, you have successfully activated your SpringerOpen or BioMed Central supporting membership discount.
