Starting a Book Club:

So you want to start a book club... Here are some resources to help you start planning the logistics of what your book club can look like.

  • ILoveLibraries- This resource gives a list of 10 questions that will help you start thinking about what type of book club you want to have.
  • Start your Own Book Club- This resource covers the main components of a book club and offers advice for each area. 
  • Getting Started: How to Start a Book Club- This link is from Penguin Random House Publishing, and offers advice and information about the basics of starting your own book club.

  • Monroe County Public Library Book Clubs- Do you live in the Bloomington area? If so, take a look at the variety of book clubs that are available through the public library.
