In this LibGuide, you will find our online streaming video collections made possible via the IU Bloomington Libraries. All films are licensed in perpetuity with public performance rights with the exception of Kanopy and SWANK. On occasion, a film may be removed from a streaming platform due to a producer who has lost the right to distribute a film.
Access to titles in the Kanopy and SWANK streaming platforms are leased each year. Kanopy and SWANK titles are ineligible to be permanently added to the Media Services collection. A request to renew a title must be submitted to Media Services at libmedia@indiana.edu.
For IUB subscription-based databases, you must log in with a valid IU username and passphrase. To create playlists within certain databases, you must create a separate password not affiliated with IU.
To access subscription-based resources from off-campus, be sure to set up a VPN (virtual private network) connection. More information is available is IUB Knowledge Base.
