Dissertations and Theses
Graduate dissertations and theses can be useful in understanding new and emerging areas of a particular discipline, field, or area of study. As a graduate student, it can be useful to see examples of work that others have done in pursuit of their graduate degrees. Below are some resources to help you search for graduate dissertations and theses.
- ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global This link opens in a new window
Comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses from around the world, including millions of works from thousands of universities. Each dissertation published since July, 1980 includes a 350-word abstract written by the author. Master's theses published since 1988 include 150-word abstracts. Simple bibliographic citations are available for dissertations dating from 1637.
- IU ScholarWorks Theses & DissertationsBloomington graduate students may submit their thesis or dissertation to IUScholarWorks in addition to submitting it to the University Graduate School. This is a collection of the graduate theses and dissertations submitted by IUB graduate students.
