HealthData.gov brings together high-value datasets, tools, and applications. It offers data about health and health care to help researchers solve problems. HealthData.gov has thousands of health-related data sets from Department of Health and Human Services agencies which can be downloaded; new data sets are added regularly.

 

CDC WONDER

Wide-ranging Online Data for Epidemiologic Research -- a menu-driven system that makes the information resources of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) available to public health professionals, scholars and the public at large. It provides access to a wide array of public health information.

AHRQ Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project

Comprehensive source of hospital care data, including information on inpatient stays, ambulatory surgery and services visits, and emergency department encounters. HCUP enables researchers, insurers, policymakers and others to study health care delivery and patient outcomes over time, and at the national, regional, State, and community levels.
