The Course Material Fellowship Program (CMFP) was created by IU Libraries in 2020. The CMFP provides instructors with the support, tools, and expertise needed to move from traditional textbooks to affordable course materials. Fellows receive funding for moving to zero-cost course materials. The 2023-2024 CFP for Fellows has closed. A new CFP will be issued in Fall 2024. Look at the 2023 CFP or contact email@example.com for additional information.
The Open Educator Award was created in 2023 to recognize IUB instructors who are using Open Educational Resources. The award celebrates instructors who have made their course materials as accessible as possible, advancing equity via cost savings for students.
The IU System joined the Open Education Network in 2020. We occasionally offer workshops on defining and finding Open Educational Resources. Instructors of record who attend the workshop and review an OER in the Open Textbook Library get a small stipend.
