Introduction

IU DataCORE User Guides

These guides provide documentation for the Indiana University institutional data repository, IU DataCORE. This repository is provided free of charge to all researchers affiliated with IU.

IU researchers, students, and staff to meet grant and journal requirements for data sharing:

  • Provides a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to enable persistent access and formal data citation
  • Curates submissions to ensure data and files are maximally Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR)

How the Guides are Organized

These guides are reference documents that explain how to use IU DataCORE, a custom repository built to share and preserve the research data, and software created by Indiana University researchers. The guides are divided into key activities: submitting datasets, submitting big data, and downloading data. Details on these tasks can be found via topic link on the left.

IU DataCORE Support

If you have any questions accessing or using IU DataCORE, or would like additional supporting in managing research data, please feel free to reach out to the Research Data Services department (resdata@iu.edu). IU DataCORE is developed and maintained by IU Libraries.
