ACCESS TO THIS TITLE WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE AFTER MARCH 31, 2024. The Readex United Nations Index provides access to current and retrospective United Nations documents and publications.
Articles appearing in UN periodicals are individually indexed. Indexing of the bilateral and multilateral treaties in the UN Treaty Series is another unique feature of the Index. Documents from the six main bodies of the United Nations - General Assembly, Security Council, Economic and Social Council, Trusteeship Council, Secretariat and International Court of Justice - are indexed. Masthead documents (formerly referred to as mimeographed documents), Official Records, sales publications, limited and restricted documents, and documents emanating from sessional and standing committees, functional commissions, conferences and regional bodies are the basis of the Index. Also includes the fulltext of several thousand UN documents.

Online tables and charts of basic statistics about the social, political and economic conditions of the United States.
In print, the Statistical Abstract of the United States is a one-volume, comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic organization of the United States. Online it is 1400+ individually indexed tables (with attached spreadsheets), both searchable and browsable. Online edition includes:
-Line-item access to tables
-Updated monthly instead of annually
-Table-specific capabilities for narrowing results by source, data date, subject, type of data breakdown
The Statistical Abstract is a great place to begin a search for statistical information since the footnotes lead you to the original source, which most frequently is more comprehensive.
ProQuest Statistical Abstracts of the World aggregates the statistical abstracts of approximately 70 countries and makes the content available through a single-search interface.
These statistical abstracts are generally issued by the national statistical offices of foreign governments and contain country-level data not easily found elsewhere. Global and regional statistical compendia issued by international organizations and research firms are also included.
