Description

WindowsWear is a visual merchandising database providing access to retail data including store windows, store interiors, packaging, e-commerce. PLEASE NOTE: First time users must create an individual login using your official iu.edu email account for access.
 

  1. Go to the WindowsWear site 
  2. Select “Sign Up, It’s Free!”
  3. Under "Academic" choose "Indiana University" from the dropdown.
  4. Select Create Profile.
  5. Fill in the information for your account, including your iu.edu email. Select Join.
  6. You will receive an email to verify your account. Select the verification link to complete registration. Note: if you do not receive this email, check your spam folder.

One Mail Instructions

If you setup your WindowsWear account using your @indiana.edu email address, you will need to create a new account with your @iu.edu email address and request saved projects be transferred to your new account. See the below instructions for creating a new account and transferring project material.

Create a new account with your iu.edu email:

  1. Go to the WindowsWear site 
  2. Select “Sign Up, It’s Free!”
  3. Under "Academic" choose "Indiana University" from the dropdown.
  4. Select Create Profile.
  5. Fill in the information for your account, including your iu.edu email. Select Join.
  6. You will receive an email to verify your account. Select the verification link to complete registration. Note: if you do not receive this email, check your spam folder.

Transfer projects from your indiana.edu account information to your new iu.edu account:

  1. Log into your new iu.edu Windowswear account.
  2. Go to the transfer user ownership page  
  3. Fill out the form with the relevant information. 
  4. After submitting, you will receive an email confirming the transfer. Note: if you do not receive this email, check your spam folder.
