Introduction to the research guide

This research guide is intended to support your course work for the US History survey courses (H105 and H106). In the left-hand sidebar you will find a series of tabs that provide guidance on using academic library resources.

Search Resources provides a curated list of databases for finding primary and secondary sources as well as a reference for identifying primary and secondary resources

Video Tutorials has some very short videos on the common features of library databases, using the libraries' catalog (IUCAT), accessing library resources remotely, and connecting Google Scholar to the library.

Citing Sources shows you how to use library databases to automatically cite, as well as some links to common citation style guides.
