A guide created to accompany the City on the River Archaeological Exhibition at the IU Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology (IUMAA). Developed in partnership with Native American descendants of Angel Mounds, the exhibit tells the stories of Indiana’s Indigenous peoples through archaeology, personal narratives, contemporary art, and an immersive virtual reality experience. These pages point you to selected books from the IUB Libraries about the native peoples historically associated with the city on the river and about the archaeology of the site.
