In-depth research consultations (kind of like library tutors)

Research Desk: Research Assistant, 7-12 hours/week

A research assistant works with a student at the research desk.

Positions are filled for the 2025-26 academic year.

  • Experience with providing in-depth, interdisciplinary, one-on-one research assistance with researchers in-person and virtually. 
  • Applicable library settings: all
  • Transferable skills: interdisciplinary and discipline-specific research methods, working one-on-one with researchers, instructional approaches to public services, citation management.
  • Additional occasional work: staffing and planning outreach events, collection development, LibGuides and instructional video creation/maintenance, teaching information literacy sessions, and leading library tours.
  • Pay rate: $15/hour
