Image Collections Online (http://webapp1.dlib.indiana.edu/images/public-index.htm) serves as a showcase for various image collections curated by the libraries, departments, and cultural institutions of Indiana University.
Please note that not all photographs in ATM collections are yet available in ICO. You can see catalog records for collections from Indiana with photographs using this IUCAT results list.
Searching ICO
The Archives of Traditional Music staff continues to work towards putting more photographs online through Image Collections Online.
You can search Image Collections Online by using the search box in the upper right portion of the webpage.
You can either search all images, or you can narrow your search to a specific collection within Image Collections Online.
Once you put in a search term and click "search", you will see all the images with that keyword somewhere in the description. You can then navigate using the page numbers, or further refine your search by using options on the right-hand drop downs.
To see more information about a photograph, such as place, location, names, or identifiers, click the image title on the image thumbnails.
