Are services in the library open this Fall 2020 semester?

Services are open now!! Access to spaces for the Fall 2020 semester will be by appointment only.  

 

Can I study in Wells library?

You will need to reserve a seat in order enter the West Tower for studying.

  • Reserve a seat in Wells Library
    • The IU Libraries will have HOST(Healthy Operations Support Team) staff located throughout the IU Libraries' public spaces to promote public safety measures required by Indiana University.
    • When accessing in-person services at the library, you will need to check in with a HOST and show any reservation confirmation you have. 

 

I need to print.  Can I still use the printers in the libraries?

You do not need a reservation to release a print in the library lobby from your own personal device.  

    • To print from your own personal device, you will upload the item into My Print Center and log in to your IU account.  You can then release the print to a specific printer within the library lobby and learning commons
  • Limited printing assistance available by walk-up.  
  • The plotter printer will be available by appointment beginning August 24, 2020.

 

I have technology questions.  Can I still meet with the UITS Support staff?

The UITS Support Center is open by appointment only.

 

I need help with my writing.  Can I still meet with the Writing Tutorial Services (WTS) staff?

The Writing Tutorial Services is available for virtual appointments only.

 

I need help with my research.  Can I still meet with a research assistant?

Research assistance will be available by appointment and drop-in online only.

 

I have questions about my Crimson Card.  Is their office still open?

The CrimsonCard Office in the library will be closed.

CrimsonCard services are available in the Indiana Memorial Union location.

 

Is peer tutoring still available for Fall 2020?

Peer Tutoring will not be available during the Fall 2020 semester.
