Microforms

GIMMS also maintains IU Libraries' collection of microforms which spans many disciples and topics both within and without government agencies. Microforms, like microfilm and microfiche, are a way of storing large paper collections (newspapers and the archives of organizations are popular uses) in a very small, yet physical space. Increasingly, microforms are being digitized into online databases, but should you encounter one in your research, we are fully equipped to help you use it.

For more information about Microforms and how you can access them, see Microforms Collections in GIMMS.

Here's an example of a microform title which has not yet been digitized!
