Pitchbook Account Setup
Pitchbook is working to provide a better solutions but for now new users must first register from a computer on campus. After registering, users may log into their account to access the database from anywhere. IU users must create an individual account using their iu.edu email.
At the end of each academic year, Pitchbook deletes all IU accounts so you will need to sign up again each June (or after) EVEN IF YOU PREVIOUSLY HAD A WORKING ACCOUNT.
If you are not on campus, try this workaround, which opens a Chrome browser inside of your own browser, but that is running on a campus server, making it look like you are on campus:
- Go to IUanyware. Sign in with your IU credentials
- IMPORTANT: Select "Use light version"
- In the search box in the top right corner, search for Chrome.
- Click the star to favorite Chrome for the future (it will display every time you visit IUanyware in the future)
- Click on the Google Chrome icon.
- A new Chrome browser window will open, with a starting page of iu.edu.
- Access Pitchbook from the Libraries' website to set up an account.
