Accessing Library Resources Remotely

The main rule for accessing library resources is to use the links provided by the IU Libraries, either on this guide or in the A-Z Business Resource List. See the video below.

Sources for Evidence-Based Management

When searching these databases, start with the phrase "evidence based management" in quotes. This makes sure you are searching that exact phrase, instead of looking for each word separately. To narrow your search add words about the aspects of EBM that you are interested in, such as:

  • "evidence based management" AND "best practice"
  • "evidence based management" AND leadership
  • "evidence based management" AND theory
  • "evidence based management" AND (study or evidence)
  • etc.
Also, remember the best articles may not be on the first page of results. Scrolling through multiple pages for a given search is usually better than jumping immediately to a different search.

You can link IU libraries to your Google profile so Google Scholar will always provide links to IU resources whenever you're signed in:
  • Go to
  • Sign in to your Google account
  • Click the icon showing three horizontal bars on the top left of the webpage.
  • From the menu that appears, click Settings and then click Library links.
  • In the search box on the Library links page, enter Indiana University
  • Check the box for Indiana University - Bloomington - IU-Link
  • Click Save
If you are affiliated with other universities or public libraries, you can add up to 5 libraries here and Google Scholar will link to the resources available in each of them.

Here are some of the eBooks we have available on the subject of Evidence-Based Management. To find more, search IUCAT (our catalog of available materials). After searching, limit to ebooks and to the Bloomington campus in the left-hand column.
