I am a new user who is passionate about history.

Conflict of Interest Statement
I, User:janedoe, Jane Doe, am a student at Indiana University Bloomington. As a member of the IU community, I am also affiliated with IU Libraries' collections and IU Archives.  The Archives are dedicated to collecting, preserving, and providing access to primary sources that document the history of IU. I accept the editing conditions specified at that page. I will not make any edits that would not be beneficial to the goals of Wikipedia. My main edits will consist of the following activities:

• Creating or enhancing existing biographies of notable political figures based on both published and original primary source materials
• Creating or enhancing existing biographies of other notable scholars, researchers, and cultural figures, especially those of under-represented populations
• Creating or enhancing existing entries for women’s activist and cultural organizations based on both published and original primary source materials
• Adding authoritative references, citations, and images to improve the quality of existing articles of all types

I will modify my editing behavior based on problems cited by other editors or if my editing conflicts with other Wikipedia guidelines. I ask that other editors do not hesitate to contact me, via my user talk page, if I appear to be going against this declaration.
