First you will need to add an HTML block to your page.
Next click the Source code editor icon [<>]
If you have an embed code from your project paste it into the source code editor box. If you only have a URL and not an embed code you can use this iframe code
<iframe src=" your-URL-here " height="800px" width="600px"></iframe>
For detailed instructions see https://omeka.org/s/docs/user-manual/sites/site_pages/#html
Some of you may also be using Prezi to create your project. You can embed your Prezi in the class website by following these instructions Embedding your Prezi Design content – Prezi Support Center.
Once you get the embed code from Prezi, in Omeka on your page in the class website,
Add an HTML block to your page,
Click inside the HTML block to display the menu options.
From the menu options choose the source code editor [<>], and paste your embed code into the source code editor box.
1. Use the Asset block to add an image. You can browse to find existing images or upload a new image from your computer.
2. To add a new asset, click the "Add new block" button in the upper right-hand corner of the page you are editing and choose Asset. A panel will open that allows the user to browse their computer for an asset file, and to create alternative text for that file (alt text will be available to screen-readers and whenever an image cannot load). Click the "Upload" button to complete the process. Or you can select an asset from images that have already been uploaded to the class website.
Note: Assets are maintained at only their original size; they are not duplicated and resized like media items (see instructions for adding an image as an item below). You will need to manually upload other sizes as desired.
You first have to add an item to Omeka S (see instructions for how to add an item) and then add your image or photograph to your page by using
The screencast below shows the process (no audio).
On your page in the class website use Add an HTML Block. This is a rich text editor (like Google Docs or MS Word) that you can type directly into.
